VITRO HELLAS S.A. is a private company established in 1986, located in Northern Greece, related mainly to production and trade of plant propagation material.
Mission of the company is the production and trading of high-quality plant material. Τhis is achieved by following up with the world wide agricultural trends and broadening of the both external co-operations and research activities aiming to development of new technologies, products and respective markets.
Accomplishment of this mission, is based on the comparative advantages that in-vitro techniques result on the plant material products. Aseptic conditions of plant material handling, in correlation with the effective organizational structure of the respective laboratory, greenhouses, nurseries and logistics procedures result in products characterized by:

Clonal selection of Greek grapevine cultivars, by means of selection from certified vineyards, comparative experimentation related with agronomic characteristics and final distinctive micro-vinification for determination of vinifivation potential of the selected clones, is the main activity derived and supported by such procedures the last 15 years.
The shareholders are businessmen of the agricultural sector with great experience of the Greek agricultural sector. Most of them are now administrative officers in VITRO HELLAS or other enterprises of similar activity. Main shareholders are also is BIOS AGROSYSTEMS S.A., a Greek membero of the "REDESTOS - Efthymiadis Agrotechnology Group" as well as VIVAI COOPERATIVI RAUSCEDO (VCR), the Italian global leader of the grapevine plant propagation material market.
